Arusha National Park is one of the most interesting landscape’s spot in Tanzania. The park is geographically located only 32 km from Arusha town.

Take a picnic lunch and drive to our nearest National Park. See the Ngurdoto crater and Momella lakes. In deed the park has a wealth of wildlife including Colobus Monkeys, velvet monkeys, bushbucks, buffalos, red forest duikers, hippos, elephants, warthog, olives, baboons, colobus monkey, dik dik and giraffes. Birdlife, especially waterfowl, is abundant and interesting.

You may be lucky enough to see thousands of flamingos on the big lake.

Kikuletwa Hotsprings gets its name from the water that bubbles in underground caves. Surrounded by fig trees, this area is a hidden gem in the midst of a semi-arid landscape.Here you may find a diversity of colorful birds amongst an abundance of plant life and neighboring indigenous tribes. There is also an option to camp overnight and hike.

Mandara Hut is the first hut in along the Marangu Route (“Coca-Cola Route”).
The walking starts from the starting point of Marangu Route (1970m) just an hour drive from Moshi Town to the Park Gate (starting point) and three hours walking from the gate to Mandara Hut (2700 m). Enjoy walking in the Montane forest where Mandara Hut is situated on the forest belt border just below the Maundi Crater.

Walking in the montane forest and shortly in the heath and moorland vegetation with beautiful endemic flora to Maundi Crater you will enjoy the breath taking view of magnificent Mt. Kilimanjaro, also you can get the chance to see varieties of birds, primates i.e. Black and White Colobus Monkey and varieties of trees and beautiful flowers.

Nestled on the mountain slopes of Kilimanjaro lies the beautiful coffee village of Materuni. Produce your own cup of coffee from tree to cup. Receive first hand secrets of what makes a good cup of coffee from the local Chagga people.

Only a small hike from the village lie the homonymous 80m high Materuni waterfalls. A relaxing swim in Kilimanjaro’s fletcher water grown the day.

Late in the afternoon, we will take you back to your hotel.

In the morning, we will collect you from your hotel in Moshi and take you to Marangu village, which lies in the fertile hills of Kilimanjaro where you will get a deep insight in the traditional lifestyle of this agricultural society and also the family history.

Visit some coffee and banana plantations to a spectacular waterfall. On the way, the guide will tell you and point out the fauna and flora of the region. At the waterfall, you will have lunch and if you fancy you may take a plunge in the refreshing waters of the waterfall.

Late in the afternoon, we will take you back to your hotel.
